Jack watched the robotic praying mantis with a look of bewilderment and dismay. The pulsing light had stopped, but tiny sparks were flying out from one antennae. He turned away from the malfunctioning spy device and promptly started down the flight of stairs. 

Charlotte followed a few steps behind, her eyes wide with fear and paranoia. She noticed a squirrel clinging to the tree in the front yard- Then quickly realized that the creature’s eyes were actually tiny cameras.
