    1. Thank you! Yes, sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong time period– But then on others I am glad to be here during these times, during the ongoing fight that comes into focus a bit more each day!

  1. Wow….the patterns, the detail, the negative and positive space in these are wonderfully intense and varied. The intricacies of the bare bones of winter.

    1. Thanks for the amazing words as usual, J. H.! I really appreciate the feedback, it’s great to know that the messages are getting through [Even when I have temporarily dropped the writing from the site.]! Hope all is well over there! 🙂

    1. Thank you very much, Millie! That is a great question and a very difficult one to answer– It really all depends upon the series, how many pieces are in it, how many layers, etc. The work could be contained within one day or it could span the course of a week [Or sometimes longer]. Plus many projects remain in an embryonic state of sorts for indefinite periods of time until I eventually return to finish them. Anyway, keep up the great work over there!

    1. Wow, thank you very much for the compliment, but I have a long way to go to be as talented as Hokusai! I really appreciate the comment though! Have a fantastic day over there- Take care! 🙂

  2. This really shows a huge range. A big break from your other style(s) I like this a lot alot. I’m impressed with this difference; I adore utilizing my chops as a writer,–hitting the genres–so i love range…My sister was a very skilled draftsman…draughtsman?…well, all of that. Plus she did fantastico art.

Here, I am going to link you to a page, but go ahead and delete this part from my remark–I haaaaate mad link droppers–but I want you to see how great she was. You will especially appreciate, i think. 🙂 (this links through to 2 more “galleries”)

Look when you have a chance; I know we all just get so busy…I hope you like them. 🙂

    1. Thanks again for the nice comment [And don’t worry, I’m going to leave the link up in hopes that others will notice it and thereby discover your sister’s work! Have a wonderful weekend over there! 🙂
