1)

May 20th-

I had been contacted about a month ago by a woman who called herself Natasha Aosoth. She was some sort of weird Goth type who owned an art gallery downtown. Claimed that her gallery was interested in purchasing one of my pieces.

Word on the street was that Aosoth was a freak and not to be trusted. Charlotte thought that going was a bad idea, but I needed the money- Didn’t want to end up like the millions of homeless that had been roaming the streets and

begging for food since the collapse of the dollar.

A pale guy with a leather collar around his neck was standing just inside of the door when I arrived.

“Mr. Altomare?” He said.

I started laughing, couldn’t help it.

“Sorry.” I said.

“Follow me.” He said.

He led me down an elaborate hallway and then into an unlit room.

I stood just inside of the doorway and looked around. My eyes had not adjusted to the darkness.

“My name is Natasha, Mr. Altomare.” A voice said from the far corner. I squinted in that direction and could just make out her legs. “I am a very busy person and I’m not going to waste your time. I will wire eight thousand dollars to your account for the painting you called ‘Transformation.’ Yes or no?”

I stood there for at least a full minute before responding.

“Okay.” I said.

“That is all. My secretary will contact you tomorrow with all of the details.” Natasha said.

I turned and walked away.

  1. I like the black and white photos but, uhm, are we supposed to read it ? I couldn’t read it, too small. I had to enlarge it but it took me awhile to finish reading. lol.

    1. Thanks for the comment- I’m glad you are enjoying the “photo-art,” sorry that you had such a difficult time reading the text. Are you trying to read it on a mobile device of some sort? It’s clear on my screen, but I do have a large screen on my computer. I’ve posted 30 of these so far and this is the first time anyone has voiced a problem with reading them, so I’m not sure what to do… Thanks for stopping by, though, keep up the great work on your blog & enjoy the day!
